Kathy Diane (Fowler) Smith

Tabor City, NC

Kathy Diane Smith, age 72, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 in her home surrounded by her family.  Born February 28, 1954 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herman Wallace Fowler and Isadell Floyd Fowler Cummings.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Kenneth Smith; three sons, Timmy (Krissy) Smith and their children Cooper and Taylor, Roy (Leighann) Smith and their children Bella, Walker, Annie and Meila, and Josh (Lee Ann) Smith and their child, Chloe; one sister, Janice (Junior) Smith; one brother, Bill (Midge) Fowler; one brother in-law, Jerry Suggs; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Dean Smith; one sister, Phyllis “Suzie” Suggs; and step father, Wayne Cummings

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Dulah Missionary Baptist Church, 12476 Swamp Fox Highway E., Tabor City, NC with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM in the church.
